Ephesians 3:16-19 “I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
God calls us to wholeness—a life rooted in Him, filled with His Spirit, and empowered by His love. This wholeness allows us to trust Him more and more in every part of our lives. When we trust Him, Christ makes His home in our hearts. The Holy Spirit begins to work freely within us: guiding, comforting, convicting, and strengthening us.
Through prayer, scripture, and meditating on His Word, we start to understand—even just a glimpse—how vast His love is. That love transforms us, shaping us to pour out His goodness to others. And there, you become complete in God, walking in the fullness of God.
True wholeness is realizing that every part of your life—your blessings, your trials, and even your daily routine, your very existence—exists in and for God. He is yours, and you are His.
Personal Application:
Spend time today reading and meditating on God’s Word. Let His Spirit speak to your heart.
Reflect on areas where you need to trust Him more fully. Invite Christ to make His home there.
Consider how you can pour God’s love into the lives of those around you.
Prayer
Father, thank You for calling me to wholeness. Empower me by Your Spirit, and make my heart Your home. Help me to grow deep roots in Your love and walk in the fullness of life You have given me. Teach me to trust You fully and to pour Your love into others. Amen.
